Abstract
The genesis of the problem of early aesthetic education in the Ukrainian pedagogical thought is presented. The arising of the notion about the aesthetic education in the early childhood on the territory of Ukraine is traced, beginning with the pre-Christian times and the Princely age, the evolvement of the early childhood aesthetic development concepts, the formation of the early aesthetic development idea in the works by the representatives of the pedagogical thought of the ХV (J.Drohobych, P.Rusyn), of the Ukrainian Renaissance (I.Boretsky, E.Slavynetsky), the Enlightment in XVIII (H.Skovoroda), ХІХ (O.Dukhnovych, Lesia Ukrainka, I.Pyrohov, K.Ushynsky, I.Franko, T.Shevchenko), the first half of the ХХ століття (H.Vashchenko, T.Lubenets, A.Makarenko, S.Rusova, V.Sukhomlynsky). The state of the early aesthetic education under the conditions of family upbringing (X — mid XIX) and on the stages of its origination, establishment and development of the public forms of the national social pre-school education (mid XIX — first half of the XX) is highlighted.
