Abstract

The article deals with the approaches to the organization of preschool children's perception and discussion of the paintings in Ukrainian and foreign artistic pedagogy and the system of preschool education. The author concludes that Ukrainian artistic practice is directed to learn information about the authors, names of works, recognition of their ideas, defining means of artistic expressiveness and aesthetic value of the painting. Moreover, the author explains how to use main methods (pedagogue's art narrative, information conversation, description) and additional methods (verbal, game). In the foreign approaches, teachers are aimed at child’s creative individual development in the process of communication with artistic works such as discussion in a team, games on the theme of paintings, creative projects and tasks in the context of artistic works. The author’s album of artistic creativity for senior preschooler “Learn decorative and applied arts under artists: Sculpt and draw” has shown how to implement a comprehensive approach to organization of children’s artistic and creative activity. This approach involves integration of perception and discussion of artistic works by children, acquiring of technical artistic skills and individual practical activity to create an artistic image.
