Abstract
The expediency of using an adult androgical model of education is proved. The conceptual ideas of adult population development in the system of continuous professional education are substantiated. The principles of the development of adult education in Ukraine are defined: humanization, differentiation, integrability, continuity, systemicity, unity of socialization and professionalism of the individual, modularity and continuity of adult education.
