Abstract
The problem of self-designing of a person during serious somatic diseases is considered in this work. In most cases, a severe illness stimulates, catalyzes the processes of self-awareness. In a cancer patient, there is an uncertainty in the timing of the future, its value system is consolidated around certain concentrated meanings, it can not spray its resources.
