Abstract
The presentation identifies the contradictions that make it difficult to solve the problem of professional training of future skilled workers in the machine-building sector in the vocational school, taking into account energy efficiency. The identified the purpose, the object, subject, tasks, research methods. Concretized of notion of "energy-efficient competence of future skilled workers in the machine-building sector", the structure of its content, is concretized. The theoretical conditions, the model, the stages of the methodology for the formation of energy-efficient competence of future skilled workers in the machine building profile in the vocational-technical school are considered.
