Abstract
The article covers the issue of formation of professional culture of junior specialists in finance and credit in colleges for vocational education. For the first time, a thorough analysis of their educational qualification characteristics and educational and professional program from the standpoint of competence and cultural approaches has been made. The author draws attention to the fact that the educational and qualifying characteristics reflect the structural and functional model of the junior finance and credit specialist, whose components are their production functions: financial, economic, accounting, organizational and production, technical, information, analytical and organizational. The content of each function is disclosed through a series of tasks summarized and visualized by the researcher in an article in the form of a table. Their analysis makes it possible to conclude that it is quite logical to use in the training of junior finance and credit specialists in a college such pedagogical technology as a task. The realization of the production functions in the educational process, and then in the practical activity, requires the generated knowledge, skills and competencies. It is significant that the content also requires future specialists of general, personal and public culture. In the process of research, it was revealed that the content of educational disciplines of general educational, humanitarian, natural-science and general economic, as well as vocational training has a practical focus. It has significant potential for the formation of a professional culture of future financiers. The article considers the essence of the culturological approach and concludes that the formation of the professional culture of future specialists should be carried out in the appropriate cultural and educational environment.
