Abstract
The thesis is devoted to the topical problem of formation of senior pupils’ selfexactingness in the process of vocational guidance. The educational possibilities of vocational guidance for formation of senior pupils’ self-exactingness are revealed. The essence of the notion “self-exactingness of a senior pupil” is specified. The criteria of self-exactingness of senior pupils are determined (cognitive, emotional-value, practic-actional), as well as their indices, and the levels of this quality are described. The complex of methods of formation of senior pupils’ self-exactingness has been developed as a unity of content, means and technics; its efficiency being experimentally tested.
