Abstract
The research examines governmental authorities’ activities on professional and career development of public servants in countries all over the world and Ukraine. The general system organization of these activities, its components and structure, directions of the organization improvement are determined. The key role and characteristics of professional training, typical gaps of public servants assessment and approach to appropriate Education and Health spheres achievements implementation have been specified. Components and structure of Public Service personnel competency are indicated, classification of cadre reserves and professional motivation of cadre have been defined. Scientific and expert assessment of national public servants professional development state is conducted. Scientific based concept of modernization of governmental authorities’ activities on professional development and prospect promotion of public servants in Ukraine have been suggested.
