Abstract

The article presents some aspects of modern development of out-of-school education. The role of out-of-school education is stressed as an institution of social education, the contemporary content of which has to be focused on expanding the worldview, developing patriotism, civic qualities of personality. The potential of the social and rehabilitation direction of out-of-school education is briefly outlined.
