Abstract

The thesis is devoted to the problem of multicultural education of senior students in Euroclubs of comprehensive secondary educational institution. Based on the analysis of national and foreign scientific, psychological and pedagogical literature, the research reveals the essence of multicultural education within Euroclub activity as the process of social and cultural identification of a person in a multicultural society, which is created and functions in the secondary educational establishment in order to recognize cultural diversity by senior students and develop a tolerant attitude towards cultural differences and ability to cooperate effectively with representatives of various cultural groups, ability to generate creative solutions to unusual situations while intercultural interacting (overcoming conflicts, working within a limited period of time or with a new team etc.).
