Abstract
Orienting at the growing generation, creating conditions that promote the development of a child as well as his well-being and happiness are a contemporary sign of high-quality education in a modern developed state. The article deals with up-to-date and important for modern pedagogics theme of teenagers upbringing. Taking into consideration the fact that teenagers are the most sensitive in perception of destructive stereotypes dominating in the society, teenagers have inclination for showing aggression it is of vital importance to form in this target group value-based attitude towards themselves and the surrounding world, to prevent negative impact of the society upon the child of the critical teenage age. To do this means to fulfil the task of modern preventive up-bringing. The author touches upon the problem of prosocial behaviour formation in its unbound connection with the upbringing of a happy personality as well as emphasizes outstanding necessity of development and up-bringing in the schoolchildren of transitional age (including senior teenagers) the qualities every prosocial personality should possess. In the article it is underlined that especial value prosocial behaviour gets exactly due to its active altruistic orientation as well as its orientation at harmonic interaction with different members of the society. The author draws attention to the characteristic features of social and psychologic portrait of senior teenager and corresponding qualities of prosocial personality, the development of which will promote constructive interaction of the teenager with the surrounding world, will make him non-perceptive to negative influences of asocial environment and promote the formation of individual happiness position.
