Abstract

In the article on the basis of archival documents, published studies and publications from the Foundation of the V.O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine analyzed the life and teaching activities Vitalii Shulgin. The article reveals peculiarities of a methodology he had compiled history books for secondary schools of the Russian Empire, characterized merits Vitalii Shulgin as a high school teacher.
