Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of formation of the personality of students of pedagogical specialties in the context of the concept of spirituality of education. The spirituality of education is substantiated as a necessary condition for the transformation of the values attributed by the students to their personal qualities. The features of manifestation of these qualities in the process of social and professional activity of future teachers are revealed. The essence of pedagogical phenomena "spiritual upbringing", "education of spirituality" and "spirituality of education", the possibilities of their influence on the process of formation of the student's personality are analyzed.
