Abstract
The initial theoretical and methodological basis for empirical research of communicative practices of self-consciousness development as a factor of civic and national self-identification of youth were the following statements: communication is a semantic “reproduction” of society and sense is a basis of communicative practices; communicative practices represent a system of senses what define image of social reality in whole and social-political in particular; practices are means of acquisition and representation of civic and national identity, a mechanism of self-identification. The model of empirical research is grounded. It covers cognitive, emotional and value-motivational aspects and forms three-component structure (communicative practices of self-cognition, practices of self-attitude, practices of self-regulation); presents indexes of communicative practices of person’s self-consciousness development as a factor of civic and national self-identification of youth and outlines methods of their study. Reasonability of utilization of quality methodology in research construction is emphasized.
