Abstract
The article describes the features of perceptive and cognitive components of the emotional sphere preschool children with mental retardation, depending on the social conditions of education. For researching the features of perceptive and cognitive components of the emotional sphere preschool children was applied a special technique which consisted of several diagnostic series that are constitute the content of these components: perception, understanding, emotion identification of different modalities; the amount of emotional experience and emotional perceptions; understanding the characteristics of social emotions; of emotional tension. As a result of the research this problem preschool children with mental retardation demonstrated a low and middle levels of perception, understanding of expressive signs and of arbitrary expression of emotions the different modalities. The preschool children with mental retardation have a limited amount of emotional experience, narrowing the range emotions and superficial knowledge about the different emotional states due to violations of regulatory functions of the central nervous system and the social conditions of education of this category of children. Socially deprived children with mental retardation have limited experience of different emotional modalities and their range because its accumulation occurs in communicating with other people, contacts with the surrounding reality, which the child is deprived, leading to impoverishment cognitive-affective schemes emotions.
