Abstract
The process of human life is not deprived of self-regulation, which is carried out through external channels of communication in a variety of activities and behaviors. This is done with the help of control information coming from the outside person. The controlled variable coming from internal information is a sensation on the basis of which the psychological self-regulation of the human condition is carried out. Activity is the prism in which all mental phenomena of a person intersect, among which self-regulation is most widely manifested and its derivative is self-control. In accordance with the principle of arbitrariness, there are arbitrary and involuntary types of self-regulation and self-control. Random view - implies a conscious character of setting goals and their attainment in the performance of a specific activity. The very process of performance is realized through self-control: the analysis of the situation, the sequence of actions, the comparison of the result with the standard, that is, involves the transition from a constant awareness of self-control over activities to its automated internal form, where constant awareness is not a prerequisite. An example of the involuntary type of self-control can be called at the biological level, on which self-control mechanisms are included in the system of self-regulation, which provide the vital functions of the organism, while their functioning goes beyond the sphere of human consciousness.
