Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the content of the concepts of «sustainability», «psychological stability», «professional psychological stability». It is determined that professional and psychological stability is the ability to withstand a specific individual (stress) psychological impact of professional activities while ensuring the high efficiency of its implementation. The structure of psychological and professional stability to stress the individual as a system of neuro-psychological endurance and psychological resistance is clarified. The list of occupational stressors of the employee penitentiaries is established, such as stressors on human factors (external (related to the psychological contact with others) and internal (subjective perception factors as threatening for an individual) and objective (objective circumstances of the situation). Selected the structure of the integrated components of the professional psychological stability of the penitentiary officers: value-semantic (system orientation to high value-semantic and moral and spiritual values of life),reflective (acquiring abilities and skills of introspection), motivational and behavioral (motivational formation of guidelines for success ), emotional (value attitude to himself and his life at the level of self-esteem and self-acceptance, adequate emotional reactions to others). According to the identified components of sustainability of the penitentiary officers professional stressors a psycho-educational program to improve psychological and professional stability of the officers of the penitentiary system, including a system of teaching were elaborated («Penitentsarna psychology», etc.) As well as complex psychological training: the emotional sphere of personality (mastering psycho-regulative methods) the development of cognitive skills (development of professional thinking, observation); stress-resistance (selfregulation development); motivational psychotraining (formation of active life position and professional orientation of the individual); self-confidence. The principles and methodology of psychological trainings are elaborated.
