Abstract

Presented the strategy of the individually oriented approach in the sense of special education for the deaf used in modern realities in Ukraine. Analyzed surdopedagogical researches for last years that contribute to the departure from the concept note on defect. Traced the role of sign language as a means of teaching and the learning subject. Attention is focused on the Ukrainian surdopedagogues attitude to the national Sign Language.
