Abstract

The article proves the feasibility of using project-based learning technologies for mastering experience of safe working for the future builders. It is shown that the introduction of project-based learning in the training of future skilled workers to solve their professional problems is substantial part of professional education. In addition, the project contributes to the training of the competency approach. Projects stimulate students' interest in vocational schools of a building profile for independent acquisition of knowledge from different sources, the solution of problem (dangerous) situations, the acquisition of professional experience. It is shown that the project contributes to the formation of professional training, analysis, research, communication and social competencies of pupils, develops the ability to work in groups (teams), solve problems, make their own decisions and take responsibility for them, to solve disputes in groups. It is noted that all options for project-based learning have common features – self-understanding of the information produced through a personal relationship to it and assessing the performance of final products. It is shown that in the vocational schools of a building profile project-based learning experience almost minimal, and teachers consider the most favorable for students mastering new material two main reception – modeling and practical activities. Additional benefits of project-based learning, manifested in the application of a multidisciplinary approach during the project development are revealed. They also belong to the development of skills of working in groups; use the information about different building professions, analyzing one job in different ways. Some features of project-based learning are shown. Three types of communication strategy – presentation, manipulation and convention are considered. The importance of using the information technologies in project activities that transform knowledge into an information resource of society is shown. The basic stages of development of the educational project are highlighted. The importance of training – methodology recommendations of teachers, which define action algorithms for solving problematic situations, including dangerous and emergency is emphasized.
