Abstract

The problems of elaboration of social development strategy in the context of current political processes are investigated. The factors affecting the quality of adoption and implementation of strategic decisions are singled out. Author's interpretation of the term «social development strategy» is proposed and essential features of this phenomenon are concretized. The ways to improve strategic decision-making process are outlined.
