Abstract

The role of the domestic elite on the legal and actual position of the Ukrainian language in the modern Ukrainian state is elucidated. The analysis of the factors influencing the quality of social and humanitarian education of students of non-humanitarian higher education institutions is carried out. The peculiarities of the formation of their language competence are revealed.
