Abstract

Factors of conflict and compromise in the behavior of political actors are investigated, namely: manifestations of the leader's ambition are analyzed in the context of group and national interests, the dynamics of self-identification of political leaders and the oligarchy is monitored in the context of the problem of preserving the Ukrainian state and the Ukrainian nation, business-political groups are considered as carriers of the foreign policy actors interests. It is alleged that harmonization of group and national interests is the cornerstone of the functioning of a democratic political system, and the ability to achieve political compromise and consensus is a guarantee of effective management of social development.
