Abstract
The article is devoted to research of problems of socially-active schools. Implementation in practice of the model of socially-active schools management by the experimental schools, democratization of management, the use of the command method of work contribute to the development of managerial competence of the head of the educational institution, the civic activity of teachers, students and parents, strengthening their partnerships, the development of volunteering, school does not only provide high-quality educational service for students, but also develops the community, by means of involving parents and community members into solving social problems.
