Abstract

The theoretical and practical basic principles of future specialist’s self-education in the penitentiary field were shown in the article. The essence of individual’s I-concept, through the cognition of the nature’s content of I-real, I-perfect, I-fantastic and I-dynamic was exposed. The special attention to the integrative nature of the professional sphere of self-education of a specialist in the penitentiary field was paid. The further researches’ basic guidelines for the process of penitentiary personnel’s self-education were determined.
