Abstract

Dissertation (manuscript) for the searching of the scientific degree of the candidate of pedagogical sciences.'Speciality 13.00.03 - special pedagogics. Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named by M. Dragomanov, Kuiv, 1994 15 scientific works are defendiny, which contain the theoretical grounds of the pupil self-management activity at the auxiliary school and also the results of the experimental investigations. It is proved that mentally retarded pupils activity in selfmanagement bodies depends on proper correctional and pedagogical guidance. It is the essential educational mechanism of such abnormal, pupils socialgronth. The inculcation of the proposed pedagogical conditions is carried out into the practice of the auxiliary schools activity. Also the facts of their efficacy in the process of organisation of the pupil self-management are cited.
