Abstract

The article highlights the main activities of the psychologist with preschool children with visual impairments (diagnostic, educational, consultative and correctional and developmental). The basic goal of the psychologist, objectives and ways of their implementation, taking into account the individual characteristics of children with visual impairments. The basic function of a psychologist in preschools for children with visual impairments, which should be implemented in accordance with the principles defined by the author. The mechanism of correctional impact on the deviation in mental development of children with visual impairments and reasons which caused it.
