Abstract
The teaching and methodological manual highlights the features of psychological and pedagogical support and correctional and developmental work with children with moderate mental retardation in a special general educational institution. The current issues of organizational and methodological support, the implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies and recommendations for their implementation in practice, the results of experimental studies on the implementation of labor, sensory education, the development of speech, gaming, social activities, the content and organization of psychological and pedagogical support for schoolchildren with Moderate mental retardation. The authors present innovative adaptive technologies for teaching children with severe intellectual disabilities. The manual is addressed to specialists of special and general educational institutions, researchers, social workers, teachers and students of higher educational institutions; Parents of children with special educational needs, all interested problems of modern special pedagogy and psychology.
