Abstract

The article is devoted to pedagogical innovation of AMakarenko in the aspect of the solution of the problem of the so-called «morally defective childhood» in 20th years of the XXth century. Views on this problem which were wide¬spread in the Ukrainian pedagogical science of the studied period are analysed. The main components of the educa¬tion system of AMakarenko which is primarily aimed at the social rehabilitation of «difficult» children and the huma¬nization of this process are outlined.
