Abstract
Modern socializing discourse, in which there is a continuous interaction of discourses of various actors of political socialization as semantic vectors of social influence («a struggle» for the designation of reality), affects the formation of meanings of the youth political world outlook as well as peculiarities of its constructing and structuring. The construction of the youth political world outlook carries on due to «the immersion» of youth into a social and political discourse. The need to study political practices, as a factor of structuring the political world outlook of university students, is determined by the understanding that they define the internal logic of youth behavior in a society and a state. The article presents the results of an empirical study focusing on revealing features of the modern discourse of university students in different regions of Ukraine. It has been found out that the major factor of structuring representations underlying student political practices in all the regions is political subjectivity, which has different manifestation. For the students of the center it is actualized in practices of influence and individual responsibility; for the students in the west it is understanding of the foundations of social interaction, civic responsibility and practices of control over the government, which establishes order in the state. Immaturity of the youth subjectivity position in the political interaction causes common practices of rejection and evasion of civic (political) participation in the life of the society. The attitude to oneself as a subject of civic (political) interaction determines the degree of youth participation from active to passive political practices. Passive practices are characterized by the shift of the stress from one’s own activities to those of the authorities (shifting of responsibility, avoidance, helplessness, accusation, etc.).
