Abstract
The author considers the problem of "science and educational subject". It is determined that the theory of science and the theory of the subject matter have different subject areas (refer to different aspects of reality), operate on different systems Abstractions, the direct connection between which is impossible. It is emphasized that the purpose of education consists of the following components: stock of scientific knowledge, intellectual development, possession of a special complex of practical skills, scientific outlook.
