Abstract
Two potential concepts of Ukrainian professional еducation modernization are discussed. The first concept, humanistic, insists on realization of the principle of education fundamentalization, provision its dynamic social-economic and civilizing roles. The second concept, technocratic, shows preference to first-rate professional preparation in narrow bias. Which one should be preferred?
