Abstract

The essence of the fundamentalization of education as its direction at providing students with generalized and universal knowledge, at formation of their general culture, generalized ways of thinking and activity is analysed. The fundamentalization of education does not come to mechanical increase of the volume of learning mathematics, natural or technical sciences. The fundamentalization of vocational education is necessary for harmonious adaptation of a personality for social, economical, technological and natural factors of life. The fundamental vocational education includes fundamental general scientific, fundamental technical and technological and fundamental vocational (special) training.
