Abstract

This paper presents an experience of understanding the deafness as defect and resource, forming the deaf person status in society at the process of own educational development. The author describes attitude towards deaf people with technocratic (understanding deafness as defect) and humanistic (understanding deafness as resource) philosophy directions. This article provides examples of deaf humor.
