Abstract
In the monograph the historical and pedagogical analysis of the formation of the Fatherland theory and practice of corrective education of pupils of auxiliary school by means of student self-management is carried out, and also the present state of its development is revealed. The study examines various aspects of the functioning of student self-government in a modern special school for children with special needs. In the appendices are submitted materials from the experience of the organization of post-examination work of cadets-psychologists and students-defectologists in the auxiliary schools in Kiev. The book is designed for researchers, teachers, students, anyone who is interested in special pedagogy. The monograph can be used as a textbook in the educational process of the educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a view to a more complete study of the historical and pedagogical foundations for the development of deviant behavior of adolescents.
