Abstract
In the article, the importance of isotherapy as a means of social and educational support for children of internally displaced persons is stressed. The functions and tasks of isotherapy in the implementation of social and educational support for children of internally displaced persons are defined. The stages of isotherapy classes are described. The author reveals the meaning of drawing and visualization of the children’s mental states, the role of imagination and fantasy in correctional work with students. Techniques of isotherapy are presented that can be used by social pedagogues in working with children of internally displaced persons. In particular, projective technique of drawing (and individual painting, drawing with a partner, group painting), working with clay are considered. Their potential in overcoming the negative psychological states, achieving a sense of support and resistance, successful adaptation and integration in the new social and cultural conditions is underlined.
