Abstract

Application school subject "I am in the world" for the elementary school for deaf children, realizing the educational sector "Social Science", concluded with relevant adaptations based programs for secondary schools and in accordance with the requirements of standard primary education. The content of programs involves a gradual broadening and deepening knowledge built up according to the age characteristics of students. Course structure defined thematic distribution and after-school educational material. According to the basic curriculum of the subject "I am in the world," taught 3-4 classes (one hour each class). Average hours of study for each topic depends on the individual characteristics of deaf students, opportunities to learn certain material in the allotted time. Within the course the teacher can vary the number of hours to process a particular topic. The course is aimed at the socialization of the individual deaf students, their patriotic and civic education.
