Abstract

The integrated course "Health Basics" taught in special schools for children with mental retardation as a separate subject, however, it is part of the educational sector "Health and physical education." Osnovnameta information of the course is the motivation for a healthy lifestyle of students; educating students conscious attitude to their own health as the highest social value; laying the foundations of a healthy lifestyle, preserve and promote health; mastery of safe for personal health and the health of others behavior. The curriculum is based on a combination of elements of integrated knowledge for the conservation and protection of life and improvement of human health. Content topics deployed according to the State Standard and complete secondary education. The structure of the course "Basics of Health" middle-level school includes four components: human life and health; physical component of health; social component of health; mental and spiritual components of health.The program is presented in tabular form containing three parts: the content of training requirements for general education students and correctional and developmental direction and expected results. The content of learning the basics of health indicated that educational material be studied in the appropriate class. Requirements for general education students oriented to learning outcomes, which are the subject of monitoring and evaluation. The curriculum is structured on the basics of health topics. Determined number of hours allocated for each study, submitted a list of requirements for knowledge and skills of students.
