Abstract

The new edition of the State standard of primary education in the branch of "Mathematics" and the new curriculum directs teachers to implement a competence-based approach while teaching younger schoolchildren. The paper presents the informative and structural analysis of the competence-oriented tasks, which are a means of forming the pupils' mathematical competency.
