Abstract

Creating an information society in Ukraine actualizes the greater awareness of factors of a social dynamics. The traditional appeal that comes from the Soviet era, to the materialist-economic factors did not give a positive result. Lester Ward's creative legacy in the context of the information society gets a modern sound. His appeal to the study of the human soul, the importance of psychology for social and conscious social development, the role of aggregate intelligence people, and improve the means of education deserve to be involved in Ukrainian social and philosophical discourse.
