Abstract

The article represents the analysis of Ukrainian publications of the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries from the collection „School Course Books and Manuals” which are kept in V. O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine. There have been identified the peculiarities of the native course-book creation, the development of the content of national education on Eastern and Western Ukrainian areas.
