Abstract
The author of the article argues that the Ukrainian educational journal Vilna Ukrainska Shkola (Free Ukrainian School) is a source of studying Sofia Rusova’s ideas and activity concerning the national education development during the period of the Ukrainian revolution (1917–1920). The author reveals the information about the famous Ukrainian teacher’s scientific and public activity and peculiarities of her work as an editor of the educational journal.
