Abstract
In the article, the significance of educational environment for development and education of children with autism is revealed. The genesis of environmental approach is over viewed. The content of environmental approach is presented. Environment is divided into three types: stressful, comforting and developmental. The term of educational environment is defined. Environmental resources (items, space, organization and meaning, socio-psychological) are characterized from the perspective of structure and content. Management principles for creating developmental environment in educational context are distinguished. Specific resources for development and education of children with autism are emphasized. It is predicted that effective usage of environmental recourse's, as a component of complex psycho-pedagogical help for children with autism, will optimize means of interaction between autistic child and environment, and reinforce formation of social experience. The following perspectives of further studies dedicated to tasks of psycho-pedagogical help for children with autism are outlined: scientific and methodological provision of development and education of children with ASD, technologies of early intervention, interdisciplinary interaction, guidance of families.
