Abstract

The monograph shows the relevance of universalization of models which carry scientific knowledge and marks difficulties on this way, most clearly manifested in the sphere of human sciences. To overcome such difficulties we propose a method of set-theoretic description (ST-method) of processes. It is a version of a universal research tool for human sciences. The method can be useful also in the fields of natural and technical sciences, which studycomplexly determined processes (in biological, geological, etc. disciplines). This method allows to organize available knowledge about the subject studied,to formulatehypotheses on this basis and to outline a strategy for further research. The monograph is addressed to specialists in human disciplines. It may be useful in courses of methodology of psychology and of other sciences.
