Abstract
Article updated search for innovative approaches to address the problem of continuing education teachers in post-graduate education. Substantiates the content and principles of continuous pedagogical education. Presented structural and functional (Competence) model of professional development of managers and teaching staff of secondary schools that developed and experimentally tested at the Lugansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education. The model is based on the principles of continuity, continuity between the training of specialists in higher and further education, between training courses and other forms of professional development in mizhkursovyy period merging content and structure in andragogical cycle. Reasoned feasibility of credit-modular system underlying andragogical cycle, which allows you to define the organizational structure, complete content of the professional development of teachers in training courses and mizhkursovyy period to ensure continuity, integrity and consistency of the process of professional development of teachers.
