Abstract
This article is devoted to teaching activity of the promi¬nent Ukrainian composer, founder of Ukrainian classical music Mykola Lysenko (1842-1912). The composer's private teaching practice, his work in music schools, Kyiv institute for noble maidens and creation of his own Musical dramat¬ic school are considered in this article.
