Abstract

The article presents a retrospective analysis of adult education in the second half of the twentieth century; the characteristic forms of adult education organization in Ukraine are defined. The author grounded, on the analysis of archival documents and materials, the periodization and distinguished four stages of adult education in the second half of XX - beginning of XXI century.
