Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of the US vocational training system. Vocational education in the United States includes a variety of public and private educational institutions: schools, colleges, counseling centers. Forms of training are also varied, including: on-the-job learning, part-time, distance learning courses, apprenticeship, etc. The basic element of skilled workers’ training is community (junior) colleges.
