Abstract
In the article self development is considered as the important form of education for professional and individual development of personnel in Japanese companies. Special attention is paid to the revealing of peculiarities in the fulfillment of individual educational track of adult learners. The authors draws attention to the part that employers, interested in the creation of necessary conditions for encouraging personnel to develop their professional qualities, play.
