Abstract

The Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (9 Berlynskoho Str., Kyiv, Ukraine)The article addresses the problem of training teachers for education of primary school children’s value attitude to people. The purposes of this training are to increase the level of pedagogical knowledge, to stimulate educational focus, to form pedagogical observation ability, to develop educational intuitions, to implement pedagogical optimism. To achieve these aims, lectures, seminars, and workshops were used. A scientific conference and «pedagogical messages» promoted the exchange of teaching experiences and best practices. An important objective of this work was the formation of humanistic style of communication with younger students, which is characterized by respect for the dignity of the child, the understanding of issues of priority interest, trust and faith in children’s abilities and intrinsic strength. The work of teachers had positive impact on the education of primary school children’s value attitude to people.
