The features of children of 6–7 years are determined that render possible upbringing their culture of dignity, namely: prevailing of perceptible sphere, which manifests in a certain kind of attitude toward any concrete appearance, phenomenon, event and serves as the regulator of conduct acts; development of arbitrary conduct and abilities to subordinate direct reasons to farther, personal — to social. Forms (collective, groups) and methods of organization of out-of-class work are characterized, dedicated to upbringing the first-form schoolchildren’s culture of dignity. Next to traditional conversation, special attention is paid to interactive methods (playing activity, role game, work in pairs, collaboration, exercises, creative tasks, disputes, discussions), which enable teachers to engage children in collaboration and cooperation, to educate their value attitude toward themselves and others.
